2024 VirtualPBX Year in Review

2024 was an especially momentous year at VirtualPBX. We are extremely proud of our team; from the innovation that led to impressive releases in product, to the expansion of our reach which grew our customer base in sales and marketing, to the improvements behind the scenes that keep our business humming and allow us to deliver incredible experiences in operations, and to the care, attention, and relationship-building that remains at the core of VirtualPBX in technical support and customer experience.

Of course, all of this is not possible without our customers. To them we extend our most sincere gratitude. We loved serving you in 2024 and are eager to help you build even better business connections in 2025.

With Business Phone as our core product for years, we’ve seen our real estate customers in particular face challenges with maintaining emergency lines tied to elevators, fire alarms, security panels, and gate phones. We knew their experience could be so much better and after the FCC announced a sunset for the traditional copper-wire POTS lines that support these connections, our next step was a no-brainer. We kicked off 2024 with the launch of our new product, AirDial POTS Replacement in January and have seen impressive results. Our AirDial customers have saved considerable budget in making the switch, improved their emergency preparedness, and bolstered compliance. 

Contact Center
Next up was the launch of Contact Center in April. Like all of our products, Contact Center was built with our own customers’ challenges in mind. Particularly, the challenges of growing businesses who need personalized solutions and real-time visibility and management of their teams. Fully configured by our white-glove team of specialists, Contact Center delivers on this premise and more boasting features that capture customer feedback, integrate with core business tools, and result in more productive teams.

SecureTeam
The last release in 2024 was SecureTeam in November. The latest in our lineup, SecureTeam goes one level above communication to address how small and medium sized organizations securely conduct business via a secure browser. In today’s hybrid work landscape, questions over enforcing secure data practices and protecting companies from bad actors has only increased. SecureTeam offers a controlled launchpad for employees and contractors alike to access your company’s existing tools within the confines we’ll help you define.
