Show Your Company Phone Number From Any Phone!

When you keep your work and personal communications separate, you help ensure the health of your business. The VirtualPBX Business Phone System lets you divide those properties by displaying your company phone number in caller IDs — even if you use a personal device to make calls.

Edit Your Company Phone Number ID
In our Dash Business Phone System, you can easily change caller ID settings for your entire company and for individual users. By default, call recipients will see your company phone number from any device attached to your account. When you change users’ settings, those unique phone numbers will override the system-wide company caller ID.

System Caller ID
You can change the company phone number displayed to recipients by first entering your Dash Dashboard.
On the main screen, click Caller ID. It will open a menu that looks something like this. You may have one or more phone numbers listed, and you can choose any option as your primary number.
After you click Save Changes in that window, the box will expand to reveal fields for Caller ID Name and your company address. Fill these fields and click Save Changes one more time to complete the process.
Individual Caller ID
As a Dash administrator, you can also visit a user’s Features menu to change how their calls appear to call recipients.
After clicking the Users button on the left-hand menu of your Dashboard, look for the user you want to edit. Click that user’s User Features tab to reveal a menu similar to this one.
You can see Charlie Chaplin’s features in this screenshot. If you click Caller-ID Number, you can select any of the user’s phone numbers that are associated with that individual’s devices. You can add or remove devices for a user to alter that list of numbers.
Desktop or Mobile Devices
These changes will work for any phone attached to your Dash account. Whether you use VirtualPBX Mobile, our Web Phone, the VirtualPBX Softphone for desktop and mobile, or any of our recommended Desktop Phones, you can be assured these settings will keep your company phone number at the forefront.
