VirtualPBX™ Moves To New San Jose Location
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — May 16, 2003 — Hosted communications service provider Virtual PBX®, Inc. has moved its corporate headquarters from San Francisco to 920 Saratoga Avenue, Suite 106, San Jose, Calif. 95129
After operating more than six years in the heart of San Francisco, Virtual PBX® recently expanded its sales, marketing and management staff following the appointment last fall of former BEA Systems executive Paul Hammond as President/CEO. According to Mr. Hammond, “our new South Bay location is much more accessible by the company’s employees and better positioned geographically with respect to our vendors, customers and partners.”
The VirtualPBX™ hosted communications solution offers businesses the same advanced call management features as expensive PBX systems — auto-attendant, voice and fax mail, automatic call distribution, etc. — without having to purchase and maintain any equipment. The company also offers a PBX Parachute™ telecom disaster recovery solution which preserves a business’ voice communications capability when existing PBX telephone systems become inoperable.
Virtual PBX®, Inc. was founded in 1997. As a pioneer in the hosted communications market, the company first introduced its “VirtualPBX” service in 1997. The VirtualPBX™ service provides all the sophisticated phone capabilities of a large company phone system without the disadvantage of having to buy, install and maintain a PBX system on site. More information on VirtualPBX™ can be found at www.VirtualPBX.com.
VirtualPBX™ and PBXParachute™ are registered trademarks of Virtual PBX®, Inc.
