VirtualPBX Dash Service Plans win the 2018 Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award for Second Year in a Row
Back-to-Back awards go to the Dash Service Plan from VirtualPBX with the announcement of the 2018 Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award
San Jose, California, March 13, 2018 — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) announced the winner of the Internet Telephony 2018 Product of the Year Award and, for the second year in a row, the recognition went to VirtualPBX Dash Service Plans. Dash established itself early in its availability as a new leader in the hosted business communications industry thanks to its revolutionary design and user interface. This remarkable advancement in usability allowed for an increased number of users to adopt the platform at an accelerated rate over previously available VoIP interfaces. This year, however, Dash was once again the top selection for the prize because of the huge advances the platform enjoyed in compatibility and business systems integration.
“VirtualPBX Dash phone plans turned a lot of heads when they first became available,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC’s Chief Executive, ”But by proving that there was so much more to the platform than merely its clean design, VirtualPBX earned this award without even much of a margin.”
One of the more wildly reported advances for Dash included the introduction of Salesforce CRM Integration with the VirtualPBX Desktop Softphone. This marriage of two of the most important business communication tools has been even more popular than anticipated, and it marked just the first in a series of similar integrations. By incorporating Webhooks from Zapier to the Dash interface, businesses also have the ability to weave their business phone service into any one of over 600 of the most popular business applications available. Additionally, these tools enable companies with their own internal systems to incorporate them into their Dash telephone service as well.
“Modernizing telephone service has been the driving force behind all of our products ever since we were founded over 20 years ago,” explained Lon Baker, VirtualPBX’s COO, “And developments democratizing VoIP with a logical interface and incorporating it into other business systems are natural progressions of that goal.”
Dash has been adding functions, features, and integrations to its line-up at a blistering rate since its introduction, and there appears to be no end in site. In fact, announced after the TMC Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award began its deliberation for contestants, there was another, ground-breaking announcement for VirtualPBX. Specifically, the company announced the beginning of a beta testing period for the all-new Mobile for Business feature on Dash phone service agreements. This makes the newly-minted 2018 Product of the Year award winner also now the only VoIP plan that has a 4G LTE nationwide cellular network included in its feature set for businesses, as well.
VirtualPBX was founded in San Francisco in 1997 and brought some of the first commercially available hosted PBX service to market for small business owners.
