TMC’s 2017 Unified Communications Excellence Award Goes to SIP Trunking From VirtualPBX

VirtualPBX has been awarded with the 2017 Unified Communications Award for its all new SIP Trunking Service

SIP TrunkingSan Jose, California, December 14, 2017 — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) unveiled their winners for the 2017 Unified Communications Awards and have chosen VirtualPBX’s SIP Trunking as the winner of the Excellence Award. The 2017 Unified Communications Excellence Award is not VirtualPBX’s first Unified Communications award, but it is the first such honor for all-new SIP Trunking service since unveiling it earlier this year.

“VirtualPBX SIP Trunking is a totally reimagined look at a vital technology we’ve found other companies completely ignoring,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC’s Chief Executive, ”VirtualPBX’s focus on constant improvement is inspiring and something we believe other companies should aspire towards.”

What made SIP Trunking from VirtualPBX stand out among other technologies that TMC reviewed for this award was the combination of form and function that has become the hallmark of all products that the telecom company produces. VirtualPBX began the trend of offering enterprise-grade communications solutions with consumer application finishes with their groundbreaking Dash Business VoIP platform. The intuitive interface and thoughtful, elegant design of Dash is alive and well in the SIP Trunking interface, and it accomplishes that without sacrificing one bit of the industry-leading reliability that VirtualPBX prides itself on.

“Modernizing SIP Trunking was more than applying a fresh coat of paint to an existing platform,” explained Lon Baker, VirtualPBX’s COO, “The most important goal was to successfully bridge the gap between a company’s on-site PBX and the many benefits that are inherent in a cloud-based system. We’re proud to have accomplished that and even more thrilled to be recognized for this award.”

SIP Trunking from VirtualPBX acts as the cloud-based component for businesses that use an on-site PBX. Trunking provides an economical way for businesses in this situation to use their existing hardware to power phone systems that have the flexibility that wholly cloud-based phone systems enjoy. SIP Trunking is currently available along with the company’s other unified communications services and pricing information can be found in the VirtualPBX Product descriptions.
