Virtual PBX® NAMES GREG BRASHIER CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

pioneer in hosted pbx expands management team to address strong growth

SAN JOSE, CALIF. (June 4, 2008) – VirtualPBX, inventor and leading supplier of hosted PBX services, today announced Greg Brashier’s appointment to chief operating officer (COO), a new position within the company. Brashier has served as the company’s vice president of marketing since he came on board in 2004. The company is expanding its executive team to address the needs of its rapidly expanding customer base.

“Over the past four years, Greg has been instrumental in helping us set our strategy and grow our brand during a time of rapid customer base expansion,” said Paul Hammond, Virtual PBX’s president and CEO. “The company is ready for an expanded management team, and Greg has already been fulfilling much of the responsibility of a COO, so he was a natural choice for the position.”

Beyond his work with Virtual PBX, Brashier has 30 year’s experience in high tech marketing, gathering expertise in telecommunications, storage and networking with companies including Hewlett-Packard Company and Maxtor. He also drew upon his industry experience during his 5 years as a top-rated marketing professor at Brigham Young University.

As COO, Brashier will oversee the company’s sales, marketing, customer service and engineering functions. “I’m looking forward to helping the company move to the next level,” said Brashier. “We’ve provided great technological strides in offering our customers the most useful PBX features without the hassle of owning an expensive phone system. Over the next few years, customers will have even more flexibility in how they handle and manage their phone calls.”
