Adding Users

The following video will take you through adding a new user to your Dash account. We’ve also laid out those steps with screenshots below if you prefer.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. From the Dashboard, click on Users.
  2. At the top on the Users page, click on Add User.
  3. Fill out the form in the modal window and click on Create User.
    Note: Each user must have a unique email address.

The new user will now show up on the Users list.

Dash User Settings

Phone numbers: This is for creating/assigning a direct contact number to the particular user. This will allow a user to have a direct number bypassing the virtual receptionist.

Devices: This is to add VoIP phones or contact numbers to the “User” enabling them to receive calls to that device.

User Features: Enable or disable additional features for the particular user like Voicemail, Follow Me Calling, etc.

Extensions: All users must have an extension number. We recommend using 3 or more digits rather than a single digit. Single digits can be set as menu options under “Virtual Receptionist” then assigned to a group, user, or voicemail.
