VirtualPBX Announces Zapier Webhook Compatibility As Part of Massive Integrations Initiative for Dash Business VoIP System

Following the success of integrating the Dash phone system with Salesforce CRM, VirtualPBX has opened a variety of new compatibilities to the public to further enmesh the popular VoIP platform with existing internal systems.

San Jose, California, November 15, 2017 — VirtualPBX’s history of innovation is on open display with its recently launched Salesforce CRM and VirtualPBX Softphone integrations. The popularity of intertwining the award-winning hosted business telephone services that VirtualPBX provides has led to today’s announcement of a huge increase in similar functionality. Starting now, Webhooks are available to integrate Dash Phone Plans with internal systems and are a popular way to send real-time data to a URL where it can be filtered and uniquely leveraged for an infinite number of custom uses. In addition, VirtualPBX has made it easier for non-coders to wire up their data using the popular tool Zapier – simply add Dash Webhooks as a “trigger” and choose from over 750 applications to create an “action.”

“Working with API’s as part of our Custom Voice Solutions Services, we’ve found that further integrations with our Dash platform are invaluable for some of our customers,” said Lon Baker, VirtualPBX’s COO, “This led us to move quickly to make even more integrations available to all of our customers, regardless of whether they are using a bespoke telephone system or the primary Dash platform.”

To increase the access of the Webhook compatibility to the entire VirtualPBX customer base, Baker noted that the first Webhook integration is included for free with every Dash account. Additional Webhooks from there will only be $9.99/month, as well, so this way all customers can take advantage of a more sophisticated, integrated telecommunications network than was ever previously available to them.

“Everything we do to make web-based telecommunications more accessible to companies for a fraction of what they’d pay to for a legacy phone system evens the playing field between small and larger companies,” added Baker, “We feel that making Webhooks available for so many companies further democratizes the tools that previously were only available to more well-funded companies. That’s a positive disruption we’re proud to be a part of.”

Webhooks are available immediately on all Dash Basic, Pro, and Unlimited Plans and the initial pool of apps that they can be used to tether call data to is 750 strong and growing.
