Junior Account Executive

Job Summary

The Junior Account Executive is an integral part of the sales organization and will be responsible for calling on a high volume of inbound leads, and prospecting each day to build, manage, and close opportunities. You will also be expected to develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers to build satisfaction and loyalty through consistent contact, careful identification of their needs, and quick response and resolution. Your sales efforts will be supported by our focused advertising, marketing campaigns, and lead generation programs. Preference will be given to individuals able to report to our San Jose, CA headquarters, but individuals with successful, prior remote work history will be considered for a telecommuting role. This U.S.-based full-time position reports to the Vice President of Sales. (NO RELOCATION WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THIS POSITION.)

Job Responsibilities

  • Consistently, clearly, and effectively articulate the VirtualPBX value proposition
  • Identify, qualify, overcome objections, and close prospects, consistently building and delivering on an accurate pipeline
  • Prepare sales presentations and all materials accordingly to  deliver the VirtualPBX value proposition to potential customers
  • Confer with Sales management to determine pricing and requests for customers
  • Work with Sales and Support Teams to meet and exceed customer needs
  • Build a sales plan that will ensure meeting/exceeding assigned monthly and annual revenue goals
  • Develop a strong understanding of key differentiators, internal/external systems, sales methodologies and processes
  • Educate customers on all VirtualPBX products and services
  • Become a trusted business advisor to your customers
  • Be consistently strategic and proactive in your sales efforts

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, with a willingness to perform and get things done
  • 1+ year’s successful inside (B2B) sales experience – quota-carrying sales experience
  • A proven team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to understand unique customer requirements and respond accordingly
  • Organized and disciplined to meet goals
  • Industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • College degree or relevant work experience
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge and experience
