Toll Free Numbers
With Virtual PBX®, your main business number can be a local number with a local area code, or a toll free number using one of the 8XX prefixes. Or you can have both! This is the place to investigate a 1 800 business number. If you want information about local numbers instead, click on this link. Whatever you choose, Virtual PBX will still answer your incoming calls with a custom, professional greeting, and allow callers to connect with anyone in your company, in any location.
Toll free numbers mean business
(Virtual PBX) makes us look bigger than we actually are.

Having a nationwide toll free number for your company conveys a sense of size and importance. For some callers, it will mean your company has “arrived.” Often, it also means more incoming calls, and more business for your firm. Callers often won’t hesitate to call and inquire about your products and services if they know that the call is free.
Vanity numbers
Many businesses want a main number that is easy to remember or spells something, like the company name. With Virtual PBX, you can select any number that is not already owned by another company, and we’ll help you find one that works. Just visit our partner site, www.tollfreenumbers.com and enter the numbers or letters that you’re looking for. You can even use “wildcards” for some of the digits with the * key. Once you find a number you like you can order it there and port it to us (we’ll waive the porting fee). While the number is porting, we’ll issue you a temporary local number to which they can send your calls, so you’ can be up and running right away. We can also order a vanity number for you, if you want. Ordering from us directly usually takes about 2 weeks to process and there is a one-time charge of $25 for each one.
Porting your existing toll free number
If you already have a toll free number for your business, we can usually port it so that it rings directly into our Service. Once it ports, it won’t be just a plain vanilla 1 800 number, but a full-featured Virtual PBX number with all the advantages of our system. And you won’t have to pay twice, as the bills from your existing carrier will disappear. While we’re waiting for your number to port, we’ll issue you a temporary number so you can configure and test your new Virtual PBX Service, and be ready to improve your image and your business.
