Paul Hammond
CEO and President
As the chief business visionary at Virtual PBX, Paul has helped take the company from a cool side-project to a market leader. With over 25 years of strategic, operational, sales, and marketing management experience, Paul has successfully guided the emergence of such companies as Silicon Vision, Specialix, Siemens/Pyramid and, most notably, BEA Systems. As the Vice President of Business Development and Alliances for their ECI Division, Paul helped BEA achieve $1 billion in annual revenue faster than any other software company in the history of the industry. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Virtual PBX and CASA, a non-profit child advocacy group in Northern California. He also sits on the Board of Advisors for the West Valley Business School and Cast Iron Systems, an integration appliance company funded by Sequoia Capital and Norwest Ventures. Paul holds a Double Honors Bachelors Degree in International Business and Corporate Decision Making from Kingston University of London, England.
Stephen Lange
Chief Technical Officer
With over 20 years experience developing and implementing software, database, voice and systems software solutions, Steve forms the foundation for all of Virtual PBX's technical innovation. As the inventor of the VirtualPBX service, Steve directs the evolution of the system, is guru for all things telecom, and mentor to the development team. These abilities have been on display Steve's entire career but they were presaged early on. While at General Dynamics and just a few years out of college, Steve was one of only two engineers out of 8,000 to receive a Technical Achievement award for his work on conformal phased arrays. Steve holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Greg Brashier
Marketing
Greg's 30 years in high-tech has taken him from telecommunications, to storage and networking, to University-level teaching all the way back again. A leader in the marketing field, Greg's energy has helped the growth and profitability of Iomega, Maxtor, Mylex, and Hewlett-Packard. His deep knowledge of the industry made him a top-rated marketing professor at BYU's Marriott School of Management. Greg is responsible for all of Virtual PBX's revenue growth strategies as well as all aspects of the company's marketing strategy, including branding, communications, product marketing, online marketing, and evangelism. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
John Coyle
Sales & Business Development
John Coyle brings to Virtual PBX over 15 years of experience driving business growth and tactical success across channel and OEM sales, sales and business development, marketing, training, and engineering domains. With a proven track record developing and leveraging high-level relationships with companies such as Cisco, HP, Sun, Hitachi Data Systems, Unisys, and Novell, John sets the pace for Virtual PBX's continued acceleration across multiple vertical markets. John holds a B.A. in Electro-Acoustics from San Jose State University where he graduated with distinction.
